It is a newly cleaned crack up left by Swinging Affair.

look on MP.

I am pretty sure it was overlooked because the level of filth was a overwhelming cascade of crap. I think it is a cool climb.

The 2nd pitch has a cool few moves on it but the upper section dulls it down. I considered some bolted routes on the slab, or even a 2nd pitch for Swinging affair, there is a nice finger crack over there, but the slabs above are too easy.

I've never visited Careno. It seems like a nice crag for doing moderate, kick-back climbs. And your route looks great - thanks for cleaning it and posting.

Careno is on our spring migration path, which oddly enough started this year at Index in Jan. But usually finds us in J-Tree or Red Rock over new years to Vantage as soon as we can in Feb. then Leavenworth with Careno being one of the lower dryer crags with quality routes.
